On June 27th, 2017, Lorna M, Bonnie H, and Cathy S attended a meeting of the Resident’s Council at Parkwood Hospital, Western Counties Wing where the veterans live. We presented the council with the poppy quilts that the guild made for the palliative care rooms. They were very gratefully received. We were able to get some pictures of the quilts in place in one of the rooms, 
along with the lady who is president of the Veteran’s resident council. 
Thanks, so much to Carol Miller for approaching us to do this project. And also, a huge thanks go to our guild for supporting this cause and to all who worked on the quilts.
