Just a reminder that this weekend is “Quilts at the Creek” at Black Creek Pioneer Village in Toronto with the York Heritage Quilters Guild. It will be held on July 28 & 29, 2012. Information and directions are on the web page.
SHOP HOP – Are you ladies (and men?) enjoying the Yours to Discover Shop Hop? You have til next Tuesday to complete your passports. Has anyone been to all of the shops yet? My patient husband agreed to take the back roads on our vacation up north and we managed to visit four of the shops on that trip. (I forgot to take pictures)! Hoping to finish the last few this week. We have some lovely quilt shops in Ontario and the drive takes you on some very scenic roads.
Don’t forget to send me pictures for the Quilters on Vacation time for the blog! I took my little Featherweight up North on vacation and set up a nice little sewing station in the add a room of the trailer that we rented. I spent a few happy hours sewing blocks for a new quilt. Ah, that’s MY idea of a vacation :-).
The Program Committee met last night and the Executive meets next week. Plans are being made for another fantastic year for the London Friendship Guild! Stay tuned for information.
