Susan Purney Mark will be doing a workshop on Shattered Angles on Friday, March 11, 2011 at St. George’s Church on Dundas Street in London, ON. This workshop is now open to non members of the LFQG as well. Please email lfqguild@yahoo.ca to sign up and you will receive instructions where to send payment plus a supply list. Basically you will need the equivalent of 10 Fat quarters which will give enough blocks to make a 36″ x 48″ quilt. You will also need a black, dark or contrast fabric (approximately 1 yard or more if you would like to use it for borders or binding). Another option is using dark FQ’s for the quilt and a light for the accent. This will be a great stash buster quilt. Cost is $50.00 for the class and that will entitle you to join the guild as a guest for the regular meeting on March 10th @7:00 p.m. for Susan’s presentation on “Show me Your Fat Quarters”.
