Kathy Tidswell from New Brunswick was our guest speaker for the evening.
Kathy has a BSc in Biology and a natural interest in sunsets, landscapes. She started quilting/applique in 1989 and from there 5 years in oil , watercolour and hand drawing. She’s had submissions in the Grand National. Thread works is her specialty although she also makes wearable art and accessorizes them with polymer clay buttons she makes herself. She recommends Gloria Lowman, Australia, for techniques. Kathy had a presentation reflecting many of her quilts and wall hanging. Following are just a few:
