Quilter’s on Vacation: March Break

If you are in Toronto, you might want to check this out: Hogg’s Hollow Disaster Quilt by fibre artist Laurie Swim, just take the subway to the York Mills Station. Housed in glass this 2-6 metre quilt marks the 50th anniversary of an accident that took place 10 metres underground killing 5 Italian immigrant workers while digging out a water main for the city.
