The very talented artist and quilter, Jill Buckley, has posted a free pattern and tutorial on her blog (The Quilt Rat).
Jill is a former LFQG member and has taught several workshops for the guild. She was the “Artist in Residence” for the CQA for several years.
Because the “Notion” of the month is a pumpkin, I thought that this was a great project. The pattern was previously published in the CQA Newsletter. The pattern includes fusible applique and thread painting. Jill has given me permission to include a link to her blog posting.
