Our speaker for the October meeting is Carol Miller. We will also be holding a job fair, with information on the job descriptions for all the executive positions. We will answer the questions of who, what, where, when, why and how. The vendor for the meeting will be Lana from the Quilt Junction.
The comfort quilt committee continues to work putting together the blocks that have been donated. We are changing out the colours this month to purple/cream. The links and the side bars continue to be missing somewhere out in cyber space, so the link to the pattern for the block is still missing. I’ll put a link to the Friendship Star pattern here and I will also bring some print copies to the meeting with me.
Saturday, October 8th is the last day for registration forms for the quilt show. Please get them to Rose so your quilts can be enjoyed by us all.
If anyone happens to have any of their placemats for Meals on Wheels done, would you bring them to the meeting, please. Edith would like to use them in the quilt show display for the Outreach committee.
