October Meeting

Our October meeting was held last week and there was lots of interesting things to hear about, see and discuss.  We were all asked to fill out a questionnaire regarding what activities we would be interested in-what type of banquet, what type of “quilt til you wilt” and a possible bus trip to the CQA show.
Jackie White from Manitoulin Island was our speaker for the evening.  She spoke about CQA and the importance of individuals becoming members. Then, she talked about her “Journey of a Quilter“.  The quilt show that accompanied her talk was quite amazing. It included many quilts with her signature embellishments.

The next 3 quilts were shown at “Show and Tell”, but because of camera problems,
I asked Erika and Jacqui to send me their pictures.
All 3 quilts were made from the same pattern,
Bonnie Hunter’s Easy Street.
