Heather Bell was our guest speaker at the October general meeting. Heather showed us some of her early sewing projects and then moved to her many quilts. Heather business called Heather Bell’s Sewing Studio specializes in Batik fabrics, features Marti Mitchell templates and has been in business 26 years. Heather also sells Pfaff sewing machines and teaches software application. Heather’s workshop, Little Landscapes, has been rescheduled to October 23rd. Those attending are asked to arrive at 9:30 to set up so that the class can start at 10:00 am.

Great start last month in Outreach quilts turned in and taken. A $100 minimum prize will be given to the draw of participants finishing the backlog of quilts.
