The next meeting of the LFQG will be held Thursday, February 10, 2011. The speaker for the meeting is Gerald Fagan who will speak on a special Heritage quilt exhibit in Exeter March 26 and 27th. Jill Buckley will also give an overview of the Leaf Bowl workshop which will be held on Friday.
The annual Rummage sale will take place at the February meeting. Bring along any surplus items from your quilt stash and make sure they are priced. The proceeds are for the Community Outreach Program. Please be sure to go back to the table after the sale and retrieve any of your unsold items to take home.
Quilt til you Wilt will be held Feb. 26, 2011 at the Stoneridge Inn from 8:00 to 8:00. Cost is $65.00 and there are still a few spots available. Register at the guild meeting.
Leaf Bowl Workshop – Friday, Feb. 11, 2011. You have a choice of morning or afternoon and the cost is $15.00 which includes materials for a bowl to donate to the CQA and one to keep for yourself.
It’s time to consider joining the executive of the LFQG! Get involved with the guild and get to know many people and participate in implementing new ideas for the guild. It is a great way to be of service to your fellow quilters :-). Check with any one of the executive members to find out what is involved!
The President’s Challenge will also be available at the meeting if you did not receive yours yet. These can be picked up at the library table.
