The next meeting of the London Friendship Quilters Guild will be held
Thursday, Dec 12th, 2013
at
7.00 PM
at St George’s Church on Dundas St.
Come and join us for an evening of friendship, giving, inspiration, goodies, fun and shopping!
We will be joined by a representative from Meals on Wheels. We will first have voting on the placemats made for the “Colour Challenge”. After the voting has taken place the Colour Challenge Placemats and all of the other placemats made by our guild members will be given to the Meals on Wheels representative. They will be distributed to the Meals on Wheels clients when they receive their Christmas meal.
Guild members participating in the Colour Challenge are reminded to bring their card along with their placemat, so the voters can compare the colours in the card to those in the placemat. The card will be returned to the participating guild member after voting is finished.
Our vendor for the evening is Chantelle from Hyggeligt. Check out her website at http://www.hyggeligt.ca/
November’s Sew-In Day was a great success, so we will be having another one on Feb 22, 2014.
Chris Alloway, our secretary, has had to resign because of family difficulties. If there is a guild member who could help out on the executive for the remainder of the year, please speak to Micki A.
