It is with great pleasure that we announce that Ruth M. from our guild has won 2 awards at Quilt Canada 2014 in the National Juried Show. She won 2nd place in the category “Traditional Wall and Bed Quilts from a Pattern or Book”. She also won the most prestigious “Viewer’s Choice Award” for all categories in the National Juried Show.

| Tranquil Garden Ruth’s quilt “Tranquil Garden” is completely hand appliqued and hand quilted. She says that it took approximately 2700 hours to complete
We certainly hope to be able to see it again at our guild quilt show in the fall.
