Am I the only one who thinks summer went by way too fast?
Our first meeting of the year will be held on Thursday, Sept 8th. The speaker for the evening is Joanna Masko. It’s going to be a busy evening, with lots to do and remember. I’m putting a list here of reminders to do and to bring.
-registration forms for the guild membership
-volunteer forms for what you can do to help out at meetings through the year.
-35 year challenge projects. Attach an explanation of your interpretation of the theme. Your name
should not be visible. There will be a table set up where the vendors usually set up for dropping off your projects. Members will vote during the break.
-bring your registration forms for the quilts you are entering into the quilt show. Link here
-fill out the volunteer information for the quilt show, during the meeting.
-bring your items for the member’s boutique.
-remember to attach hanging sleeves to all your quilts. How to link is here
-please consider entering any challenges or workshop projects you have done from previous years.
-please consider entering your Canadiana Row quilt.
-if you have any bookmarks left, please bring them to the meeting for Charlene to distribute.
-bring your mug for tea, as there will be treats at the meeting.
-bring your Friendship Star blocks for the Comfort Quilts. Instructions and colours found here
-notion of the month will be “show us your thimbles”.
