This week is our rummage sale, the proceeds of which go to the Outreach Committee.
-please have a price on everything you bring to sell.
-whatever does not sell must go back home with you.
Please also bring with you any of the slab blocks that you have finished.
The colours for the comfort quilt blocks remain the blacks and whites with the coloured centres, as shown here. Please bring those with you as well.
The Workshop for February is the Scrap Challenge. The prize for this is a fat quarter bundle of Northcott Canada 150 fabric. The cost for this is $25.00. Lunch will be provided.
The speaker for our March meeting will be Cheryl Gardner. She specializes in doing the barn quilt paintings.
The workshop for March is on the 11th, and will be taught by Kelley Richardson from Joyces Sewing Shop. She will be teaching machine quilting.
There will be an Outreach sewing day on March 25th. Part of this day will be spent sewing slab blocks and the rest will be spent on Outreach projects.
There are multiple positions coming up for next year’s executive. Please read over the list, and seriously consider volunteering your time for the functioning of your guild.
