Our December meeting was a fun and inspirational evening. We started the meeting with the “Placemat Colour Challenge”. Each placemat was displayed along with the greeting card that was the colour inspiration for the placemat. The guild members voted for the placemat that they felt most closely followed the colour scheme of the greeting card. The first place winner was Megan R.. Second place winner was Lorna M. There was a 3 way tie for 3rd place- the 3rd place winners were Tiny C, Cathy S and Edith W.

After a break that included some great Christmas goodies and some retail therapy, we had the LFQG version of “The Price is Right”. Our hosts for the game were Jingle and Belle (Barb A and Rose B). The “contestants” gave their guess on the price of a quilting item. The contestant with the closest price without going over won the prize. The commentary from Jingle and Belle was hilarious. The “Price is Right” was a very fun part of the evening.
