Our December meeting was a fun social evening that included a “Placemat Parade”, really yummy Christmas goodies and a hilarious Christmas Present Game.
This year we donated 110 placemats to Meals on Wheels. Each placemat goes to a Meals on Wheels client along with their Christmas dinner. We had a Placemat Parade so we could see all of the of beautiful placemats that were being donated. Laura C. from Meals on Wheels accepted the placemats on behalf of their clients.

President Micki told us about receiving a thank you note and pictures from a retired member of the Canadian Armed Forces who had received a Quilt of Valour made by our guild. This particular quilt was worked on by Mibsie B. and Karen C.
We then had a break that included lots of Christmas goodies and time to socialize with our quilting friends.

After break we enjoyed a Christmas Present Game that included trying to open presents using strange utensils , oven mitts and being blindfolded. It was hosted by Jolly Jingle Joan, who kept everyone “in stitches” with her antics.
