Here’s this week’s block. I have no idea why it is called Mosaic #18, but that’s what the Electric Quilt Software calls it.
Cutting Instructions:
Lightest Fabric: cut 2 @ 2 3/8 x 2 3/8 inches
Light Fabric: cut 6 @ 2 3/8 x 2 3/8 inches
Medium Fabric: cut 4 @ 2 3/8 x 2 3/8 inches
Dark Fabric: cut 4 @ 2 3/8 x 2 3/8 inches
Draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of all the light squares. Pair up the 2 lightest fabric squares with two of the medium fabrics. Pair up the rest of the light fabric squares with the remaining medium and dark fabrics.
Place your pairs right sides together and sew a 1/4 inch on either side of the drawn lines on the light fabrics. Cut these apart on the drawn lines and press towards the dark fabrics. Arrange your triangle squares as shown in the photo below and sew together. Pay close attention as you arrange and sew them together. It’s easy to get one turned the wrong way.
Go here for the finishing instructions. The large dark triangles are on the outside of this one.
