Here is this week’s block, named Hovering Hawks.
Cutting Instructions:
Light Fabric #1: cut 2 squares @ 2 3/8 x 2 3/8 inches
Light Fabric #2: cut 3 squares @ 2 3/8 x 2 3/8 inches
Dark Fabric: cut 5 squares @ 2 3/8 x 2 3/8 inches
cut 6 squares @ 2 x 2 inches
Assembly:
Draw a diagonal line on the wrong side of all the light squares. Pair these, right sides together with the 5 dark 2 3/8 inch squares. sew a 1/4 inch seam on either side of the drawn line. Cut the apart on the drawn line and press to the dark.
Arrange your triangle squares along with the 2 inch dark squares as shown below. Pay close attention to the arrangement and position of your triangle squares. The picture here is from the Electric Quilt program.
In the picture I took of mine, they were all turned the wrong way, so I couldn’t use it here. It is very easy to get them turned in the wrong direction.
