Next was a mini Trunk Show of the “Quilts Of Valour” that have been made over the past year by guild members. The quilts will be delivered in May.

After the break, Jacquie Gering, our speaker for the evening was introduced. Jacquie is originally from Kansas and is now living in Chicago. We are honoured to be the first international guild to have Jacquie as a speaker, It was very interesting hearing about Jacquie’s background and how her family has influenced her quilting. Her “Modern Quilting” style with unique quilting techniques and fabric choices showed us a new and different approach to quilting. It was a wonderful talk and trunk show!
