Rose sent this email earlier today with the following request regarding 2 vacant spots on the quilt show committee.
The quilt show will be October 20 to October 22, 2016. Set up will be October 20 with the show actually open for business on October 21. I know that some members needed that information before considering to commit.
Still needed is a Logistics member. This person would work with the registrar and volunteer committee members. It involves organizing the set up of the displays, ensuring the secure and safe handling of all the entries; organizing the take down and overseeing the packing up of the stands and all other equipment. This is all done with the support of the other committee members.
Also needed is an Awards member. This person would work directly with the registrar and is charged with arranging prizes and awards, including ribbons, as set out by the committee. The CQA/ACC rosette award is to be requested from the CQA publicity director. This could be a fun and challenging job.
