It was another successful quilt show for the LFQG! Our members entered over 200 beautiful quilted items! The reception area was dedicated to our outreach program and featured quilts and quilt tops that will be donated to the Family and Children’s Services of London Middlesex.
The main room featured all the big bed-sized quilts,
And we utilized every wall space and nook and cranny to feature wallhangings, miniatures and other quilted items.
There was a beautiful display dedicated to founding member Lily Wright and featured quilts made by her own hand:
A quilt show cannot be successful without the dedicated work of our volunteers! Many thanks goes out to our Quilt Show Committee: Rose B Chair, Lynda W Publicity, Penny H and Pauline L Toonie Table and Kids Quilts, June P and Charlene O Volunteers and Welcome Desk, and Karen W Registration, Carol Ann J Vendors, Lorraine S Tea Room;
and all the other members who volunteered at the Toonie Table, the Tea Room, the Welcome Desk, White Gloves, Set Up and Take Down, Transportation,etc…
And of course to our Vendors: The Quilt Place, Sew Creative, Delphi Wood Design, Heather Bell’s Sewing & Dye Studio, Country Patchworks, Ye Olde Fabric Shoppe, Country Concessions, Palladinn Ridge Designs, and The Marsh Store!
