Hands-on Christmas & Fellowship

The agenda for this meeting is as follows:
Guild business & News
Christmas Show and Share – bring your recent hand-made or quilted Christmas decorations or presents.
Break – Snack and tea will be provided.
Christmas decoration workshops – Each Executive member will be providing a decoration workshop; members were asked to sign up for their favourite at November’s meeting. If you were unable to sign up then, spaces are still available for these workshops:

Cynthia M-R: Santa Ornament
Carol V: Cathedral Window Ornament
Barb A: Stuffed Tree Ornament/ pin cushion
Rose B: Mitten Wallhanging
Deb J: Holly Jolly Snowman
Christine R: Folded Star ornament
Julia C: Fabric postcards

Just email or call any one of these ladies to get a materials list or if you have any questions.

There are spaces available for these upcoming workshops:
Saturday,January 10th, Jill B will give helpful hints in machine quilting, cost: use your new found skills to quilt a Kids’ Quilt.(oops sorry, this one is full, but there is a waiting list)
Saturday,February 21st, Quilt til you Wilt Day at the Stoneridge Inn, spend a day quilting in the luxury of the Stoneridge Inn, cost $60.
Saturday, March 28th, Anita Zobens returns to host an “Open Thread Bar”.

Don’t forget to bring:
1) Secret Notion: Please bring a non-perishable food item for the London Food Bank, we will also be giving out draw tickets for bringing your mug, chatelaine, and nametag.

4)Your materials for workshop
5) Christmas spirit!

In case of cancellation due to bad weather conditions, that information will be posted on the blog, so check the blog before you head out. If you are unable to check, don’t worry the executive will be calling each of the members to let you know.
