Quilters on Vacation – Wardsville ON

The town of Wardsville, ON had a 200th anniversary celebration last weekend. A quilt was made commemorating the life of George Ward, the town’s founder. The town’s people made large wooden blocks which will be hung on barns and buildings in the area, forming a historic tour. Jacqui and Jake VMS went to Wardsville last Saturday and took a look at the wooden blocks displayed at the ball diamond. Amazing!! Check out more photos at Jacqui’s blog and links to the town website for updates. The Quilt will be on display at the International Plowing Match in September in St. Thomas.
