Kid’s Quilts

In January, the London Friendship Quilt Guild spent a day working on the Kid’s quilts that are donated for use by children in stressful circumstances. Penny and Elaine take care of the Kid’s Quilts and make up kits for members to take home and piece, or sandwich quilt tops for members to try out their quilting skills. Bindings are also prepared for those that love to do the bindings. Several times a year a day long sewing bee is organized and a lot of work is accomplished! This year so far, 70 quilts have been donated as well as a number of pillowcases. Great work LFQG! Thanks for taking the pictures for the blog, Maria.
