Piecemakers 2012 Quilt Show is thrilled to have Lorraine Roy instructing a workshop in collage technique. We sill have a few spaces left and ask that you share this information with your guild membership.
Lorraine will be teaching two one day workshops on Basic Collage with Nets on Friday April 27th and Saturday April 28th from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $50 plus a $2 kit fee payable at class. Participants learn a very easy and quick technique using small bits of fabrics and threads captured under transparent tulle and machine stitched. The effect is like “painting with fabric” and offers a great number of possible uses – such as wall hangings, wall quilts, etc.

Lorraine Roy is also offering a trunk show on Friday, April 27th at 7 p.m. in the End Zone Room at the Pyramid Recreation Complex in Stl Marys “Stitching the Sylvan Spirit”. Cost is $5.00
