The November meeting of the LFQG featured the usual socializing with our quilt friends, shopping at our guest vendor, Quilt Junction‘s, lovely selections, our business meeting and enjoying a wonderful presentation by Martha Schellingerhoud. Wow, what amazing quilts!! There was so much detail on her quilts and we were all in awe and then she would produce the miniature version of it!! Martha brought three large quilt hangers, so we were treated to these three quilts as a backdrop for her presentation (sorry about the yellow hue over the photos due to the light in the hall):

Many of Martha’s quilts are inspired by other artists’ work. Refer to her website linked above for information on the inspiration behind these quilts. Thanks for coming Martha!

I was unable to attend the October meeting with Nina Stahschmidt doing a trunk show on feed sacks and Heather Bell from West Lorne who was our vendor of the month. Click here to see photos of the trunk show and meeting. Thanks Gail McH-L for taking those photos for me!
