The next meeting of the London Friendship Quilt Guild will be held:
- Mystery swap participants – pink & light nine patches
- Library books
- money for tickets and quilt magazines
- quilt magazines you’d like to get rid of for the library table (sold for 25c for new library books)
- sign up for Workshops -Skills building workshop on March 16th and Ruth Kennedy’s workshop Apr. 20th
- money and items for the rummage sale
- Notion of the month – wear something green and you will get double tickets if you wear a shamrock 🙂
- Banquet tickets for June will also be available for sale – $45.00. The banquet will be held at Windemere Manor this year.
Don’t forget to sign up for the workshop for Saturday, March 16th. Many members suggested learning some basics and the program committee has been working hard on organizing a workshop to learn paper piecing, quilt as you go, organic (modern) quilting using your walking foot and binding. Take advantage of this opportunity to learn a new skill or possibly a new way of doing something. Members signed up for this workshop, please bring along your walking foot if you have one.
