“Easy-Peasy Curves”
A Top-Stitch Curved Piecing Workshop for Quilters

You will be amazed at how simple it is to create with curves using this technique. No more sewing only straight lines! Hilary will walk you through the technique process, explaining the approach in 3 easy steps. Soon you will be flying along wondering why you didn’t learn this sooner.
At the end of the day, you will have a small landscape quilt top prepared and possibly completed, depending on how fast you work. Along the way, Hilary will offer embellishing suggestions such as use of sheer overlay, free motion stitching, beading, watercolour shading and accents.
Level: Confident Beginner to Advanced
Maximum: 20 Participants
Kit Fee: $30 payable to the Instructor
Includes hand-dyed cotton fabrics for pieced top with a choice of ‘Day’ or ‘Night’ colouring, ‘Mountainscape’ pattern, embellishment sheers, use of watercolour pencils and a few beads.
Length: 6 hours
This workshop will be offered at Upper Canada Village on Friday June 20th. Early bird registration by March 31, 4:00 pm fee $75; April 1 and after registration $90.
