Edith, our Community Outreach Chair, has asked anyone who has their placemats finished for Meals on Wheels to please bring them to the November meeting, so that labels can be put on them. Placemats will still be accepted at the December meeting.
Pillowcases and placemats donated by guild members for the Members’ Boutique at our Quilt Show that did not sell will be donated to the Children’s Aid and to Meals on Wheels. All other items that weren’t sold will be donated to Wellspring (a group that supports cancer patients, cancer survivors and their families).
Rachel and Kim (our guild librarians) have been working hard to update the electronic list of library books. This should be available on the right sidebar by the meeting.
The only upcoming Quilt Show we have listed is on Nov 14&15, 2014 in Toronto. It is called “A Celebration of Quilts XII” and is being put on by the York Heritage Quilters Guild. See the right sidebar for more information.
