For our meeting on May 12th, we are having our annual business meeting, followed by the rummage sale. Included in this rummage sale are items from Karen W. These were donated to the guild by Karen’s family and the proceeds generated from the sale of her quilting stash are to go to the Community Outreach Committee. Please bring any items you wish to sell at the rummage sale. They should be already clearly priced. Anything that does not sell should go back home with you. So, come prepared to shop. 
The notion of the month for May is in keeping with the shopping theme…….. an eco-friendly shopping bag to hold all your rummage sale purchases.
The library committee is asking that you please remember to bring back any outstanding library books.
There are a couple of other pieces of news to share here. The Community Outreach Program is having a sewing day on May 14th. They will have numerous projects with them in various stages, needing willing hands to work on them. This is a guild sponsored event, with no charge to members for attending. Bring your own lunch.
Also, seats on the bus for the trip to Quilt Canada are sold out, and there are a couple of people on a waiting list.
There are still tickets available for the banquet in June. More details on this will be available at the meeting.
