Last night at the monthly meeting, Rose gave out quite a lot of information about the quilt show, what needs to be done when and by whom. It was a lot of information to take in all at once, so I’m going to post it all here.
VOLUNTEERS:
-we still need volunteers. some of the spots were filled in at the meeting, but there is still a need
-sign up with Joy L. joychristinelove at gmail dot com
-still looking for some ladder climbers and rack assemblers for set up on Thursday, starting at 10am and take down on Saturday after the show.
-if possible, do not bring a purse with you. Each volunteer will be loaned a neck pouch to wear during their shift. It will hold a phone, credit card, cash etc. These must be turned in at the end of the shift for someone else to use.
-if you have your own white gloves, bring them along
-please wear your guild name badge
DROP OFF:
-quilts must be in CLEAR plastic bags, not pillow cases or special bags and definitely not in green garbage bags.
-the quilt must have a label with your name clearly marked
-all quilts must have a hanging sleeve for display purposes. Instructions can be found in a tutorial here.
-other quilted items, i.e., challenges, old workshop display items etc. will be receipted.
-please bring in the 35 year challenge pieces as well.

BAKED GOODIES:
