It’s that time again, when our regular meetings are finished and we celebrate the end of our guild activities year with our annual banquet.
It is coming up fast on June 8th at the Oasis Cafe at Fanshawe College. The easiest way is to enter the college grounds from Cheapside Street. Parking is free after 6 pm.
Registration and cocktail hour begin at 6 pm. It is a cash bar. There is also a non-alcoholic beverage station with water and various soft drinks. Dinner begins at 7 pm. It is a plated dinner, beginning with salad and then the main course. Once again there will be a dessert station with several choices. We will then enjoy our speaker, Judy Lyons.
If anyone would like to bring their challenge or any Canada 150 quilts or Canadiana quilts to display, that would be great. If you have any new quilts you have finished, bring them and display them. There is lots of space and it will add a nice touch to the evening.
