Members of London Friendship, Jacqui V, Bonnie H, Anne L, Lyndsey J, Lorriane S, and Lorna M set up a display of our Canada 150 Challenge pieces for two days at Fanshawe Pioneer Village. It was Agricultural Fair Weekend in the village, and talking with visitors about our work provided an opportunity to promote the art of quilting and raise awareness of our own guild. Adding to the display were hand quilting projects and Jacqui’s hand crank sewing machine, as well as some extra quilts. Visitors were interested in the 150 challenge pieces and the stories behind them. Thank you to all participants for allowing us to display your work. Pictured are Jacqui V. and Bonnie H. Also two of our members, Carol B. and Lyndsey J, entered items in the fair at the village and both won prizes for their work!
