A quilt show was held in Seaforth in August in conjunction with the upcoming Ploughing Match in Huron County. The show was open to everyone and Lorna M. entered 3 quilts. The first picture is her interpretation of the theme of the show, “Countryside Meets Coastline.” It won 3rd place in that category. The second picture is a wallhanging which won 3rd as well. The last is the Canada quilt which won second place. All quilts entered in the show will be on display at the Ploughing Match September 19 –23
Quite a few of our members’ quilts were exhibited at Western Fair and two of our members won 1st and 2nd.
